When you sign in using Google, PetPin.app may receive basic profile information provided by that service, such as your name, email address, profile picture, and account identifier, depending on the information available and the permissions you grant. Email link sign-in provides a verified email address and Firebase user identifier.

When you publish a pet report, we may store information you provide, including report details, approximate location, photos, contact information, and other information you choose to include.

We may also process basic technical information necessary to operate and protect the service, such as IP address, browser information, cookies, session information, and security logs.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide authentication, maintain user accounts, publish and manage pet reports, operate moderation and abuse-prevention features, maintain security, and improve the reliability of PetPin.app.

PetPin.app does not sell personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

3. Sign-in providers

PetPin.app uses Google for social sign-in and Firebase Authentication for email link sign-in.

Authentication information received from these providers is used only to identify your account and provide access to PetPin.app features.

PetPin.app does not request access to information that is not required for authentication.

4. Public information

Pet reports are intended to be publicly visible and shareable.

Information you include in a report, such as a description, photo, approximate location, or contact information, may therefore be visible to other users and visitors.

Please avoid publishing information that you do not want to make public.

5. Data storage and security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information stored by PetPin.app.

However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

Reports may also be removed automatically according to the PetPin.app report expiration and moderation rules.

7. Data deletion

You may request deletion of your PetPin.app account and associated personal information.

PetPin.app may use third-party services necessary for authentication, hosting, infrastructure, maps, or other technical functions.
